Dear Sonja,
On behalf of my father and my family, I would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to you, Sr Brochetto, Linda, Lydia and all the rest of the staff at Elcare.
The warm, friendly, compassionate and genuinely caring relationships which you have all built with our family have been most deeply appreciated by us over the past couple of months of my mother’s illness. She is settling in at the Frail Care unit at Villa Cortona, but continues to need intensive nursing 24/7. Her GP of many years is once again involved in her care, as he attends several other patients at Villa Cortona. I hope that we will soon have the correct balance of medications. The persistent UTI was brought under control earlier this week and she is once again on a lower dose of Epilim, so I hope that she will soon be more responsive.
However we would never have been able to cope with everything that has happened to her without the amazing support and assistance of you all. We had no idea just how wonderful an experience of outstanding dedication and service this unfortunate situation could be. In similar circumstances we would not hesitate to make Elcare our first choice for home care again. It gives us great pleasure to promote Elcare amongst my father’s neighbours at Rosehaven and my friends and colleagues.
