Over the years it has become more aparent to ELCARE that not all service providers appointed in retirement villages have the capacity or knowledge to provide a holistic health care services to current or potenstial residents in retirement villages. Apart from the retirement villages where ELCARE is the Official service provider, ELCARE has been providing additional care and services in more than 15 of the retirement villages located in Northern and Southern Suburbs of Cape Town and surrounding areas as well as in the Southern Cape.   Service providers appointed in these facilities where only capable of providing standard Primary Care and were unable to provide in all the needs of the residents especially where Care Facilities reached its capacity or is to expensive for residents.

A successful retirement village requires all levels of care which are:

	Primary Health Care
	Access to a 24 hour Emergency support system
	Support Services within the comfort of the residents home when needed
	Support with daily lifestyle activities in the residence or in assisted living units
	Up to 24 hour home based care within the comfort of your home
	24 hour care within a Care Facility when home base care is no longer viable.

ELCARE is one of the few, if not the only service provider who has the capacity,
expertise and personnel to deliver a Holistic Health Care service.
